In South Africa, It’s Better in Prison

HIV positive South African prisoners out on parole, many released in an attempt to relieve severe prison overcrowding, are demanding to be readmitted because they cannot get treatment or find jobs on the outside. An estimated 40% of South African prisoners are HIV positive.
