WAL-MART Special

by Lucile Scott

Would the conservative-policy-prone Wal-Mart nearest you (think dirty-lyric-bleeped albums) voluntarily sell Viread if it passes as PREP? The retail giant became the last major pharmacy chain to start stocking the Plan B morning-after pregnancy-prevention pill in all its U.S. locations on March 20, after Massachusetts demanded that it pack the pill statewide. Morally opposed pharmacists can still refuse to fill prescriptions, but if they do, they must point you elsewhere. So you might still need a plan B.
