The University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) Center for AIDS Prevention Studies will receive $1.5 million per year for four years to take on two of the three primary goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, according to a UCSF statement. The grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will help the UCSF center provide leadership and support to seven states in their efforts to increase access to HIV care, optimize health outcomes and reduce HIV-related health disparities.
