Congress Members Seek Update on National HIV/AIDS Strategy
Representative Barbara Lee (D–Calif.) and almost 90 members of Congress have introduced legislation calling for a progress report on the implementation of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and achieving universal access for people living with HIV, according to a statement from Lee. The legislation is timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary in June of the first reported AIDS cases.
