Chevron Donates $25M to Global Fund
The Chevron Corporation will donate $25 million to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, bringing its six-year total to $55 million, according to a Chevron statement. The donation comes less than a week after the Global Fund announced it had raised only $11.7 billion of its $20 billion goal, failing to reach even its lowest funding scenario. Chevron is now the single largest private donor to the Global Fund.
