HIV Rates Rise in Chinese Women
HIV infection rates are on the rise among women, with the ratio of new HIV diagnoses shifting from 5:1 (men to women) in the 1990s to 2:1 (men to women) today, according to Chinese government officials. There are an estimated 650,000 HIV positive people in China.
