Florida Researchers Working Together on HIV/AIDS Research
HIV and AIDS researchers in Florida
have come together to form the Florida Consortium for HIV/AIDS Research
(FCHAR), reports South Florida Gay News. FCHAR was formed to bring scientists,
doctors and patients together in order to pool resources and information and
bring an end to AIDS. The consortium currently has about 110 researchers
ranging in specialties. The scientists are hoping that by banding together they
will be able to save research dollars, have greater and better access to the
flow of information, and ultimately raise more money for research.
