Germany has released $145 million that it withheld from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria earlier this year, The Associated Press (AP) reports. Major international donors, including Germany and several other European nations, pulled funding from the Global Fund in January after instances of fraud and misuse of money were uncovered in its operations in Africa. Development Program are charged with delivering aid in a “corruption-free” method.
