They struggle to access sex education and health services, including HIV prevention and education. Studies show that people with disabilities engage in the same sexual behavior as the general population and that women with disabilities are more vulnerable to sexual exploitation and rape. However, there isn’t much more global data about HIV/AIDS and people with disabilities.
