How you can plug into vital HIV information—even if you don’t have a computer

1. Your local AIDS service organization may have computers you can use; others will find and print info for you. Find articles and fact sheets from POZ.com and AIDSmeds.com at clinics and organizations. (Prisoners: Your counselor or clinic can get these.)

2. Use a computer at your local public library.

3. Buy computer time at an Internet café. Prices vary (from $3 an hour in some places to $13 in others); discounts and memberships are often available.

4. Ask your doctor’s office or clinic to look up or print articles for you.

5. Request HIV info from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, by mail or phone: AIDSinfo, P.O. Box 6303, Rockville, MD 20849-6303; 800.448.0440—in Spanish, too.
