Resolution in Support of AIDS 2012 by Rep. Alcee Hastings
U.S. Representative Alcee Hastings (D–Fla.) introduced a resolution expressing support for the XIX International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2012), which is being held July 21 to 25 in Washington, DC, according to a Hastings statement. H.R. 713 aims to renew awareness of and continue the U.S. commitment to end the HIV/AIDS crisis through research, prevention and treatment programs at home and abroad.
