IAS Recognizes Nine Researchers With Four Scientific Awards
The International AIDS Society (IAS) has selected nine
researchers to receive four scientific awards, according to an IAS statement.
The awards recognize research related to the following: children affected by
HIV; tuberculosis and HIV coinfections; the needs of women and girls affected
by HIV; and young researchers working in HIV. Each group will receive a $2,000
award to continue its research, and each will be recognized at the XIX
International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2012).
