Leila Lopes, the newly crowned Miss Universe 2011, plans to help fight HIV/AIDS around the world, The Associated Press (AP) reports. The 25-year-old has worked on various social causes in the past, including HIV/AIDS. She is the first Miss Universe from Angola, an African nation with a history of civil war and poor health care, including a high incidence of HIV/AIDS.
