Madonna Expands Raising Malawi to Educate Girls

Singer and actress Madonna is expanding the mission of Raising Malawi, a charity she founded that assists children with HIV/AIDS, The Huffington Post reports. The group plans to provide secondary schools for thousands of girls in Malawi who lack access to education. With the help of philanthropy consultants and Malawi-based community service organizations, Raising Malawi will work to build schools that fit local needs.
