New mother-baby antiretroviral (ARV) medication packs are being distributed in Kenya with the hope of eliminating pediatric HIV from the country by 2015, PlusNews reports. The color-coded and easy-to-use packs contain medications for pregnant women to administer themselves during pregnancy, labor and delivery. The packs will be available in four districts in the two provinces of Kenya that account for 50 percent of all children with HIV nationwide.
