The National AIDS Fund (NAF) has received a $3.6 million grant from the federal Corporation for National and Community Service’s new Social Innovation Fund, according to an NAF statement. This grant-the largest HIV/AIDS grant from new and non-AIDS-specific funds that the federal government has awarded in decades-will be used to expand access to NAF’s Access to Care initiative, a project intended to ensure that poor and marginalized HIV-positive people receive better care and services.
