Daniel C. Montoya Is New NMAC Deputy Executive Director
Daniel C. Montoya is the new deputy executive director of the
Washington, DC–based National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC), according to an
NMAC statement. Before joining NMAC, Montoya served as director of external
affairs for health programs at the American Institutes for Research. His
previous roles include senior policy advisor to the Division of AIDS at the National
Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; government affairs director at
AIDS Project Los Angeles; and executive director of the Presidential Advisory
Council on HIV/AIDS. He serves on the boards of the Office of Minority Health
Resources Center, the National Latino AIDS Action Network and the R. Scott Hitt
Foundation.
