Ohio’s Two Largest AIDS Service Organizations Merge
The AIDS Resource Center Ohio in Dayton and the Columbus AIDS Task Force will merge, retaining the name AIDS Resource Center Ohio (ARC Ohio), the Dayton Daily News reports. According to Bill Hardy, the current director of ARC Ohio who will remain as chief executive, the merger is a “strategic business decision.” Effective July 1, the combined organization will have a $6 million budget to provide HIV/AIDS services to 70 percent of the state.
