SAMHSA Awards $1.3M to Expand Rapid HIV Testing
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has awarded $1.3 million in one-year federal grants to help current SAMHSA grantees expand their rapid HIV testing, counseling and referral services, according to a SAMHSA statement. The grants will be funded through the Department of Health and Human Services Minority AIDS Initiative and will be focused on minority populations disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS.
