Just Say No to Sex Ed at NYC School?
The Clinton School for Writers and Artists in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood plans to move into the former building of St. Michael’s Academy, but the middle school wouldn’t be allowed to teach sex education courses because the property is owned by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, DNAinfo reports. Students would have to travel to their old building to complete state- and city-mandated HIV/AIDS courses.
