Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS Gets $5M to Build Health Center
The Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS has received a combined
donation of $5 million from The Parsons Foundation to build a health center in
downtown Phoenix, KPHO reports. The Parsons Foundation, started by Bob Parsons,
founder of GoDaddy.com, has already donated $3.5 million to build the center
and start prevention, wellness, community outreach and testing programs. The
foundation is challenging others to donate by promising to match gifts up to an
addition $1.5 million.
