Visual AIDS Mixed Messages Reception
On June 2, Visual AIDS held the opening reception of its annual exhibition at La MaMa La Galleria in New York City. The organization is committed to HIV prevention and awareness through producing and presenting visual art projects. This year’s show is titled Mixed Messages and was curated by John Chaich. It features more than 40 text-based works reflecting reactions to and connections through HIV/AIDS across generations. The exhibition runs through July 3.
