Police Claim Elderly Colorado Woman Used AIDS to Rob Bank
An elderly woman in Colorado allegedly robbed a bank by threatening a teller with AIDS, Reuters reports. The woman is accused of hitting a Wells Fargo bank inside a Safeway grocery store. The police claim that while coughing frequently into a blue bandana, the woman passed a note to a bank teller saying she had AIDS and would give it to the teller if she didn’t get the money. The robber made away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The police and the FBI are looking at crime scene photographs in hopes of identifying the woman. Coughing cannot transmit HIV.
