2012 Congressional ADAP Scorecard
There was strong bipartisan support in Congress in 2012 for local AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs), according to an ADAP Advocacy Association statement. However, there was little legislative activity that affected ADAPs. These are the findings of the group’s 2012 Congressional Scorecard, which evaluates Congress members on their support of ADAPs. The criteria include public statements, floor votes on bills, co-sponsorships on legislation, and membership in the Congressional HIV/AIDS Caucus.
