HIV Adoption Toolkit Developed by Christian Agency
Adoption agency Bethany Christian Services (BCS) has developed an HIV adoption toolkit for prospective parents who want to adopt HIV-positive children; the toolkit informs the families about the virus, Baptist Press (BP) reports. BCS created the kit in collaboration with a medical and social professional team. The $75 kit provides three webinars and a PDF collection featuring an overview of the HIV pandemic, medical issues and challenges families may face, and the psychosocial issues families should consider, such as stigma and disclosure.

I am very familiar with Bethany Christian Services.
Ironic, because BCS would NEVER approve the adoption if the parents tested positive for HIV. IF you are LGBT, don't worry about your status...they wont approve your adoption either!

Hey Gret747---not very positive statement. Let's see how many kids YOU adopt.

Great - now HIV positive kids are to be raised by Baptists! Oh joy, they can learn how to grow up to be a new generation of self-loathing homophobes who happen to be a PLWHA!

It is good that people get educated, but I really thought it was for couples that are HIV example 1 pos and the other neg, that they allow adoptions. We have been turned down every time because of me being positive, regardless that I never had drug use, own a home my wife works full time in a medical ctr, no criminal record.. unless we spend 25000 to be put on a waiting list thru so called Christian or legal agencies even gov agencies refuse because of my status.

There is nothing impossible to him who will try.
