Free HIV Screening (and Gasoline) in Alabama
In recognition of National HIV Testing Day, June 27, Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama, will offer gift certificates for free gasoline to the first 50 people who get tested, Alabama newspaper the Press-Register reports (al.com, 6/23).
“The goal for this day is to get people tested, so they will know their status, get into treatment and protect themselves and those they love,” says the center’s HIV Coordinator Tyloria Crenshaw.
