AIDS Ministry Opens New Housing Facility in Chicago
The Alexian Brothers AIDS Ministry has expanded to the south side of Chicago with a permanent supportive housing facility for HIV-positive people, according to an Alexian Brothers Health System statement. The Alexian Brothers Bettenford Place includes 23 studio apartments and a one-bedroom apartment for a resident case manager. It features a computer-learning center that also offers GED classes to residents of the facility and the surrounding community.
