Order of Perpetual Indulgence Seeks AIDS Memorial Repair
An Australian order of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an international grassroots network, has asked the City of Vincent near Perth to repair an AIDS memorial, according to a statement by the nuns. The Order of Perpetual Indulgence of the Great Southern Land claims “Australia’s first AIDS memorial” has been used as a skating ramp and left to fall into major disrepair. The order also alleges that requests for repairs made over six months have been ignored.
