Bailey House recently held a VIP fundraiser in New York City in which celebrities supported efforts to provide housing for homeless HIV-positive youth throughout the city.

The event, presented by 3A Media and BAC Talent on Friday, September 27, featured a silent auction and musical performances by Diana Degarmo and Ace Young, both from American Idol, as well as “All American Boy” singer Steve Grand in his first NYC performance.

Bailey House also honored the organization’s two new honorary chairpersons, Jerry Mitchell, the Tony Award–winning choreographer and director, as well as actor Matt Letscher, from Scandal and The Carrie Diaries.

They were also joined on stage by artists Frankie Grande, Kelly King, Emma Hunton and Carey Nokey.

Since 1983, Bailey House has provided housing to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses throughout New York City. In January 2014, the organization will add another 25 housing units to its STAR (Success Through Accessing Rental Assistance) program specifically for LGBT youth.

Special thanks were given to Valentino La Rosa, Law & Order SVU, Armani Exchange, Chelsea Lately, JetBlue, Maroon 5, Cindy Lauper and many others for showing their support.
