UNAIDS Bangladesh is teaming up with Standard Chartered Bank to form the Bangladesh Business Coalition on AIDS (BBCA), reports The New Nation.
According to the article, the BBCA will work to provide necessary resources and skills and to create an environment responsive to HIV/AIDS work in the South Asian country.
“Fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic is a commercial imperative for businesses,” said Standard Chartered Bangladesh CEO Osman Morad. “Health and well-being of our people and customers is vital for sustainable economic growth.”
