A one-hour HIV/AIDS special, What U Know Bout That? Rap-It-Up Sex Quiz will premiere tonight on BET at 7:30 p.m. ET (broadcastnewsroom.com/PR Newswire, 11/2).
In the special, BET News visits New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Miami to talk to young adults about sexual health and test their knowledge of safe sex practices. Well-known BET personalities and celebrities including Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Common, Romeo and Lyfe Jennings will quiz the youth. The show will also feature Dr. Rani Whitfield, the "hip-hop doc,” who will be providing health information and facts in order to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and to tackle the disproportionately high rates of infection in the black community.
Viewers will be able to participate in an interactive online component of the show on BET.com, taking the sex quiz from the show, reading interviews and contributing to the Q&A message board and viewer polls.
