It’s a Rap

BET’s award-winning Rap-It-Up Campaign has partnered with the Baton Rouge Office of the Mayor’s HIV/AIDS Task Force to host a women’s health conference scheduled to take place tomorrow in order to raise HIV/AIDS awareness and discuss prevention methods.

The Rap-It-Up Women’s Health Conference, to be held at the Baton Rouge River Center Exhibition Hall, will feature R&B artist Lil Mo and AIDS Activists Denise Stokes and Dr. Timothy McNeil, Sr. among others.

To date, the Rap-It-Up Campaign has tested over 12,000 people across the country for HIV and has spread awareness to millions of African American viewers through its HIV-related programming, including award-winning documentaries and news specials.
