Researchers to Track Outbreaks Online in Britain
Researchers in Britain will use online surveillance to monitor searches related to conditions such as HIV, MRSA or stronger flu strains, The Independent reports. They believe such monitoring will increase their ability to respond quickly to prevent the spread of potentially deadly infections. The Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration center is expected to be operational by October.
