N.J. Gov. Chris Christie Gives $19.5M in HIV/AIDS Funding
Both nonprofit and government agencies will get about $19.5 million from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Planet Princeton reports. More than $11 million goes to HIV counseling, testing and education. More than $8 million is for medical care and social services, including housing. The Hyacinth AIDS Foundation gets more than $2 million. Seven nonprofits in the Mercer County area will get a combined total of about $2 million.

The headline is very misleading.
When I first read it, I wondered if the governor was giving money out of his own pocket. That is of course not the case.

So, if all of this funding is coming in, why is it that myself and so many others are struggling with homelessness? I can't afford Food AND Shelter, and I can forget about any transportation! All of that funding goes to big pharma companies to work on shit that only kills us anyway! Forgive me for the frustration, but I am tired of struggling.
