Jargon: DWI

It’s hardly unusual: revealing your HIV status while under the influence of alcohol. Now there’s a new, more convenient name for it, coined by a sharp member of the AIDSmeds online women’s forum. Her posting:

"I had a DWI on New Year’s Eve/Day...........DISCLOSING WHILE INTOXICATED......Yup i had a drunken disclosure to my bf and best friend...Damn that Long Island Iced Tea...But i am happy to say he/she is still around."

Add your own tipsy tell-all at forums.poz.com by searching for “my first DWI.”
