Check My Meds

by Laura Whitehorn

Many drugs (legal and otherwise), foods and drinks can interact badly with your HIV meds. Want a quick way to make sure you’re not swallowing something that could undermine your health? Visit aidsmeds.com and click on “Cool Tools” to use “Check My Meds” and find out whether it’s okay to take drug combinations such as Atripla plus the herb St. John’s wort (hint—avoid that combination).

Search: drug interaction, Atripla, St. John's wort
