A new campaign promotes the FC2 female condoms in Washington, DC, as part of the city’s ongoing HIV prevention efforts, The Washington Post reports. The second-generation female condoms are being advertised on 460 bus posters, about a third of the city’s fleet, and on a new website, dcdoinit.com. The city and community groups distribute them for free in various locations. Drugstore chain CVS also sells them in its DC stores. As the campaign notes, men who have sex with men also can use the FC2.
