Husband Claims He Was Fired Because Wife Has HIV

A husband in Florida has sued his former employer for wrongful termination, WJXT reports. He claims he was fired because his wife has HIV. The couple asked the TV station not to reveal their identities. The husband claims the employer fired him to prevent paying health care for his wife. The couple has filed a separate lawsuit against a local hospital for allegedly disclosing her medical information.
