Man in France Guilty of Transmitting HIV Before Testing Positive
A 39 year-old gay man in France who first tested HIV positive in 2007 was sentenced to two years in prison for transmitting HIV to two men in 2003 and 2005, aidsmap reports. One year of his sentence was suspended, but he will be under probation for three years. He was freed after the hearing, but will have to wear an electronic bracelet for a year. The man will also have to pay between 30,000 and 50,000 euros to each of the men. The case dates back to May 2003 and September 2005 when on two separate occasions the man had unprotected sex with each of the two complainants. Both testified that the man had reassured them he was “clean” and that unprotected sex “would be OK.” It’s not clear how they both discovered the man transmitted HIV to them. The complainants went to the police in May 2006 after testing HIV positive.

I am curious, what did the 2 men, that were the so called, "innocent victims", get for being stupid and having un-protected sex ?

Wow, How can anyone put all the responsibility on one person. Last I knew it took IWO people to make a decision to have unprotected sex!!
