Lady Gaga Supports HIV-Positive Youth in England

Pop singer Lady Gaga recently paid a visit to Body Positive North West, an AIDS service organization in Manchester, England, that caters to young people living with and affected by HIV, The Telegraph reports. She met with volunteers from the organization and helped them paint a mural of herself.

“They are so vibrant, and it’s art and love and togetherness,” said Lady Gaga—real name Stefani Germanotta—of Body Positive’s clients and volunteers. “It is everything that should be around the very serious thing that is HIV.”

The singer, whose hits include “Just Dance,” “Poker Face” and “LoveGame,” chose to visit the charity group because many of her loved ones have been affected by HIV/AIDS.

“I have a lot of gay and lesbian friends who are confronted by the fears of that sort of lifestyle,” she explained, adding that she has a long history of charity work, including working with underprivileged children at a theater. “I am a loving person that believes in the power of spreading that love to people.”

How can you not LOVE this young Lady GaGa who is using her FAME no punn intended already so early in her career to help others..when there are so many who have done so little. I love you GaGa!
