The German National AIDS Council is to be congratulated on producing the soundest, most rational and moderate statement on this vexed issue. As a gay man living with HIV, it brings joy to my heart to see a glimmer of hope that we can turn back the global tide of hateful, crimilisation of those of us with HIV.
