In case you’re keeping track, only two characters on any of the major TV networks are living with HIV: Eddie (Daniel Franzese) on HBO’s gay series Looking and, as of last week’s season finale, Oliver Hampton (Conrad Ricamora) on ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder.

To counter this lack of representation, LGBT media watchdog group GLAAD has partnered with the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and AIDS United to urge Hollywood and the entertainment world to develop more storylines that accurately portray people living with the virus.

According to MSNBC, the call to action includes a series of public service announcements that will debut this month. It also includes a journalism style guide titled HIV & AIDS in the News: A Guide for Reporting in a New Era of Prevention and Treatment.

You can read the guide below or download it on the GLAAD website.
