Cheers! On June 23, Kelly Behun and Jay Sugarman hosted the 14th-annual Midsummer Night Drinks to benefit the work of God’s Love We Deliver. All proceeds from the fun-filled evening of food and cocktails, held at their beautiful Southampton home, will go toward GLWD’s mission of delivering nutritious meals to New Yorkers living with debilitating illnesses, including HIV/AIDS.

The delicious food provided at the Southampton event was one of many highlights—it included specialty hors d’oeuvres such as steak frites, fava bean crostinis and mini chicken tacos, all catered by Canard Inc. For dessert, guests enjoyed mini s’mores and lemon ice cream cones. Throughout the evening, DJ Karin Ward spun a special track list of midsummer night music.

Guests certainly didn’t leave with an empty stomach—nor did they leave empty-handed. As they headed out, each received home-made brownies and butterscotch cookies direct from the kitchen of Chuck the Baker, who has been with GLWD for over 20 years.
