GMHC Board of Directors Seeks New Office Space
New York City–based Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) is searching for new office space just two years after it moved into its current location on West 33rd Street in Manhattan, DNAinfo reports. “The board of directors believes that we can find a space that better suits the needs of the ever-progressing GMHC and its client services than where we’re currently housed,” Mickey Rolfe, chair of the board, told DNAinfo in a statement. Such a move would mean the HIV/AIDS group would break its lease, which ends in 2018. Sources attribute a potential move to the high costs associated with the current location.
