Hepatitis Testing Day 2013
Sunday, May 19, is Hepatitis Testing Day in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention launched this awareness day to remind health care providers and the public about testing for chronic viral hepatitis. Related events are being held nationwide. Millions of Americans have hepatitis, but most of them do not know they have it. Many people with HIV also are coinfected with hepatitis.
