HIV Among Michigan’s Young Adults
HIV infections among young adults in Michigan continue to rise, the Associated Press/MLive.com reports (mlive.com, 6/6).
According to recent Michigan Department of Community Health statistics, the rate of new diagnoses among 13- to 24-year-olds in the state nearly doubled between 2002 and 2006.
The article also mentions that most of the teens and young adults diagnosed between those years were black.
