Indian Hospital Forces People With HIV to Wear Headbands
Advocates claim a hospital in India gives patients with HIV headbands to identify them as living with the virus, The Times of India reports. The hospital is located in Jamnagar, a city in the western state of Gujarat. The state high court has issued notices about this claim to concerned authorities as a result of public interest litigation brought by advocates. The litigation seeks action against the responsible officials.
