The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me to Return 20 Years Later

To commemorate its 20th anniversary, The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me will be performed Monday, May 20, in New York City as a one-night-only benefit, according to a Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) statement. The event will benefit BC/EFA and the Sero Project. Originally performed as a one-man show by actor and activist David Drake, this performance will again feature Drake, but with an ensemble cast. They include Brandon Cordeiro, two-time Tony Award nominee Robin De Jesús, two-time Tony nominee André De Shields, Claybourne Elder, Tony nominee Rory O’Malley, Anthony Rapp, Chad Ryan, Donald C. Shorter Jr., Wesley Taylor, Aaron Tone and Tony winner BD Wong. There have been nearly 100 productions of the play worldwide since it became one of the longest-running solo shows in New York theater history. BC/EFA executive director Tom Viola and Sero Project executive director Sean Strub produced the play when it first premiered Off-Broadway.
