Libya’s Supreme Court has upheld death sentences against the five Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor who were convicted in 2004 of infecting over 400 children with HIV. The sentences have been handed down twice since the children were infected nine years ago in a Benghazi hospital, having been overturned in 2005 and re-instated last year.
