Libya Protests Bulgarian Pardons
The Libyan government is protesting Bulgaria’s decision to pardon five nurses and a Palestinian doctor accused of infecting more than 400 Libyan children with HIV. Libya commuted death sentences against the six medical workers to life in prison before they were transferred to Bulgaria under a still cloudy deal involving payments to the children’s families.
